Mark Mandel MD, FAAP joined the staff of Chestnut Ridge Pediatric Associates in 1989. He was born in Bayside, New York, and graduated with distinction from Cornell University in 1982. Dr. Mandel received his MD degree from the State University of New York-Stony Brook. He completed a pediatric residency at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, NY. Besides his position at Chestnut Ridge Pediatric Associates, Dr. Mandel is also the physician for the Montvale, Hillsdale, and Woodcliff Lake, NJ school systems.

He was also a staff doctor at Trail’s End Camp in Beach Lake, PA from 1996 until 2010. He is an attending physician at Valley Hospital. He has been recertified twice by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Mandel lives in Woodcliff Lake with his wife and three daughters. He enjoys cooking and travel, and is proud to have been to all 50 states.
