Alan Benstock, MD

Alan Benstock, MD

Dr. Alan Benstock has been with Chestnut Ridge Pediatric Associates since 1969.

He received his undergraduate degree from Rutgers Unviersity in 1960. He received his MD at Georgetown University School of Medicine in 1964 and completed residency training at the Jewish Hospital of Brooklyn and Children's Hospital of Washington, D.C.

Dr. Benstock served with the United States Navy as pediatrician at the submarine base in New London, Connecticut from 1967-1969.

Dr. Benstock and his wife are longtime residents of Woodcliff Lake. He enjoys spending time with his seven grandchildren, as well as cooking, golf, tennis, and reading history.



Irwin Berkowitz, MD

Irwin Berkowitz, MD

Dr. Berkowitz has been practicing pediatrics at CRPA since 1976. A graduate of SUNY Downstate Medical School in Brooklyn, he did his pediatrics internship and residency training at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City. He is a FAAP, board certified pediatrician. He is assistant clinical Professor of Pediatrics at NYMC, Valhalla, New York and former Director of Pediatrics at the Valley Hospital, Ridgewood, NJ.

"I take great pride in my experience, medical knowlege, caring attitude and bowtie collection. Little children like my fuzzy beard and shiny head. In addition I am an excellent listener often picking up clues that allow me to make diagnoses without excessive laboratory testing. I have a special interest in the parental child interaction, ADHD and asthma."

Dr. Berkowitz lives with his wife of more than 30 years, Kathleen. They live in HoHoKus and have two wonderful sons, Benjamin and Jonathan.



Mark Mandel, MD

Mark Mandel, MD

Mark Mandel MD, FAAP joined the staff of Chestnut Ridge Pediatric Associates in 1989. He was born in Bayside, New York, and graduated with distinction from Cornell University in 1982. Dr. Mandel received his MD degree from the State University of New York-Stony Brook. He completed a pediatric residency at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, NY. Besides his position at Chestnut Ridge Pediatric Associates, Dr. Mandel is also the physician for the Woodcliff Lake, NJ school system.

He has also been a staff doctor at Trail's End Camp in Beach Lake, PA since 1996. He is an attending physician at Valley Hospital. He has been recertified twice by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Mandel lives in Woodcliff Lake with his wife and three daughters.



Jill Stoller, MD

Jill Stoller, MD

Dr. Stoller graduated with honors from Cornell University in 1982. She then went on to receive her MD from Mt. Sinai School of Medicine in 1986. She completed her residency in Pediatrics at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 1986. She went on to complete a one year fellowship in Ambulatory Pediatrics at Jacobi Hospital in the Bronx, and then become an Assistant Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 1990. While at Einstein, Dr. Stoller was the Assistant Chief of Service for the inpatient pediatric unit and helped run a primary care clinic for HIV-infected children. In 1996 Dr. Stoller joined Chestnut Ridge Pediatrics. In addition to her patient care duties she is responsible for many of the business aspects of the practice (e.g. insurance negotiating, billing office oversight). Dr. Stoller is the Co-Chairperson of the Practice Management Committee of the American Academy of Pediatrics (NJ chapter). She is on the Pediatric Special Care Committee at The Valley Hospital. She is a representative to the Bergen County Medical Society and is a member of the Medical Society of NJ, The American Medical Association, and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Dr. Stoller was board-certified in Pediatrics in 1989 and recertified in 1996 and 2003. She is also a breast cancer survivor and an active supporter of FORCE, a support group for people affected by hereditary breast and ovarian cancer.

Dr. Stoller lives with her husband and two children in Upper Saddle River, NJ.



Stacey Rosenzweig, MD

Stacey Rosenzweig, MD

Stacey Rosenzweig has been a pediatrician at Chestnut Ridge Pediatrics since 1998. She received her undergraduate B.S. from Cornell University in 1988 and went on to Yale University School of Medicine where she earned her M.D. in 1992. She went on to complete her residency in Pediatrics at Massachusetts General Hospital in 1995 and has been in pediatric practice ever since. She lives in Englewood with her husband, Ken, and three daughters: Olivia, Shoshana, and Rebecca. She is board certified in pediatrics and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.



Adam Bloomfield, MD

Adam Bloomfield, MD

Adam Bloomfield has been a pediatrician at Chestnut Ridge Pediatrics since 2000. He received his undergraduate B.S. in mathematics from the University of Michigan in 1993 and went on to UMDNJ - New Jersey Medical School where he earned his M.D. in 1997. He completed his residency in Pediatrics at New York University in 2000 and has been in pediatric practice ever since. He is an attending physician at Valley Hospital. He is board certified in pediatrics and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Dr. Bloomfield lives in Glen Rock and enjoys hiking and biking with his wife and three sons.



Michelle Mayer, MD

Michelle Mayer, MD

Michelle Mayer joined Chestnut Ridge Pediatrics in 2004. She recieved her B.S. from Binghamton University and her M.D. from SUNY Downstate. She completed her residency in pediatrics at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center. She is board certified in Pediatrics, a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, and a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honors Medical Society. Dr. Mayer lives in Woodcliff Lake with her husband and three children.
